Uniform Policy
Excellence | Modesty | Unity
Victory Christian Academy's uniform policy is a non-negotiable standard rooted in our values of Excellence, Modesty, and Unity. Enrollment at VCA constitutes the student's and family's agreement to comply fully with all uniform standards. No exceptions will be granted based on personal preference, trends, or cultural customs unless reviewed by administration.
Uniform Standards
Nails
- Nails must be kept clean and neat.
- Only the following colors are permitted: short white French tip or nude/pink tones that closely match the nail bed.
- Nail length must be kept at a length of 1/8th–1/4 inch.
Jewelry
- No student is allowed to wear jewelry of any kind, except for a promise ring.
- No jewelry or charms on tennis shoes or shoes at all.
Makeup & Cosmetics
- Natural (to your skin tone) foundation, concealer, & clear lip gloss are the only makeup allowed. No other makeup/cosmetic is allowed.
- This includes, but is not limited to: blush, eyeshadow, eyeliner, mascara, lipstick, unnatural lashes, and colored lip liner.
- Students arriving with visible makeup will be required to remove it immediately before entering class.
- Repeated violations will result in disciplinary action.
Hair Color
- Students must maintain a natural hair color while enrolled at Victory Christian Academy.
- Natural hair color means the student's hair color with no chemical or artificial alteration.
Girls' Skirt — Under-Garment Standards
- All skirts (Grades 5–12: Hamilton Skirt) must fall below the knee. No exceptions.
- Students are required to wear appropriate coverage under their skirt at all times.
- Approved options: Solid leggings or tights in navy blue, red, or black only. Shorts in approved school colors are also permitted.
- Leggings must be form-fitting and opaque (not sheer or see-through).
Not Permitted
Nails
- Colored nail polish (red, black, blue, green, glitter, etc.)
- Acrylic, gel, or press-on nails that extend beyond natural length
- Nail art, decals, designs, or decorations of any kind
- Ombre, two-tone, or patterned nail styles
Jewelry
- Earrings of any size, style, or material
- Necklaces, pendants, or chains
- Bracelets, bangles, or wristbands
- Rings (1 promise ring is allowed)
- Ankle bracelets or anklets
- Body piercings — visible or not — including nose, eyebrow, lip, tongue, or cartilage
- Spacers, retainers, or clear jewelry intended to hold open piercings
Hair Color
- Dyed, bleached, highlighted, or lowlighted hair of any unnatural color
- Ombre, balayage, dip-dye, or color-treated styles
- Temporary sprays, chalks, rinses, or color products of any kind
- Unnatural colors (red tints, platinum, gray dye, fashion colors, etc.)
Under Skirts
- Bell-bottom, wide-leg, or flared leggings of any kind
- Sweatpants, pajama or jogger-style pants
- Patterned, printed, or graphic leggings
- Leggings or tights in colors outside of navy blue, red, or black
- Sheer, lace-trimmed, or decorative hosiery as a substitute
Shoes
- No Crocs, Sandals, UGGs, or Flip Flops
